If you have used Windows Vista or Windows Seven, you may have realized that browsing running applications using the new Alt-Tab function is easier than ever.
Things have changed and VistaSwitcher offers us a new way to change from one application to another using Alt-Tab. Forget those boring icons and enjoy a nice box that shows a list of all running tasks with their names and preview snapshots. The look of VistaSwitcher is really nice, with a preview of each window and a list that gives you a general view of all running applications.
We can modify appearance details, performance, position, preview look and much more from the preferences window.
You can browse those running applications and open windows using the mouse and keyboard shortcuts. With just one click, you can switch to a task, minimize, maximize, restore the main window or close the process.
How to use VistaSwitcher
Press Alt-Tab and VistaSwitcher will appear on screen.
Go through the tasks by holding the Alt key down and pressing Tab, or pressing the Up and Down Arrow keys, or moving the mouse pointer up or down the list. As you do so, the snapshot preview changes to the currently selected task. To switch to the task, click it with the mouse or release the Alt key.
